WASSCE 2019 raw scores of Ideal College, Mankessim Sec/Tech and another school are on the social media even before WAEC officially completes work on the exams results. Some schools have their results of the WASSCE 2019 in the hands of some unscrupulous individuals have released results (Raw scores) onto social media. One motive behind this act is to use the information about candidates at their disposal to take undue advantage of candidates, attempt to change their bad results for them and other motives best known to them.  

These faceless persons are saying they are masters when it comes to altering results. This changing of results business has been in the system for long and seems to be flourishing at the blind side of WAEC.

WAEC in the recent pass has revealed that, it has a good water tight security system in place to prevent any such attempts. Do they really have it?

Newsghana24.com decided to do some investigations regarding rules and regulations that govern the conduct of examiners in the performance of their duties.

A search on WAEC’s site provided the answers on the application form for those who want to be appointed as assistant examiners.

Page four of the form has it that, “Please note that the Council’s policy forbids examiners from disclosing their identity as examiners or divulging any confidential information acquired in the course of their work. Bearing this in mind, how do you assess the applicant’s integrity?”

This is exactly what has been breached. For instance Ideal College with school number 0060115 has about 50 of its candidates raw scores in the open, Mankessim Sec/Tech is also exposed as its candidates names, index numbers and raw scores have been exposed. These information and such confidential documents of the 2019 WASSCE examination must not be in the open.

According to the council’s own form registering examiners, they forbid examiners or officers from disclosing their identity as examiners or divulging any confidential information acquired in the course of their work.

The following examiners have breached the trust of WAEC and must be dealt with. They are examiner with code number WS01170422112, WS01170433131 and WS01170433122. WAEC must be in a better position to find who these persons are. WAEC must come out with a press release of some form of communiqué on this matter if they are to safeguard the integrity of the council and its work.

Since the records are already in the public domain, WAEC should come out and get these examiners dealt with. WASSCE 2019 raw scores of Ideal College, Mankessim Sec/Tech and another are out there. Who knows, that of other schools may also be out there as well.
