Who told you that mathematics is a difficult subject? How to pass BECE/WASSCE Mathematics exams is one of the questions that torment students at all levels of education. Change your attitude towards mathematics and you will notice some difference. You can pass mathematics after following these guidelines.
First, make sure that you love mathematics and this is through loving your mathematics teacher. Do not allow your teachers to be in peace in their offices when you have a problem in mathematics since every day you must encounter a new problem in mathematics. Mathematics is like your parent whom you usually don’t fear.
Believe me, most students fail BECE and WASSCE mathematics because they fear the Maths teacher or easily get annoyed the moment the teacher enters the class. Such a mindset kills the spirit within.
Those who usually have a good teacher-student relationship and are ready to learn are the ones who pass very well.
Make sure that a day never goes wasted without you asking your teacher a mathematical problem. Loving your work(avoid being lazy).

Laziness is the mother of all problems in mathematics. You must be industrious if you are a mathematics student and also avoid time wastage. Mathematics is a subject that is so time-sensitive. And being sincere (never rely on copying other people’s work or leakages). Practice makes perfect as well.
Leakages will only confuse you. Leakage will only let you down and waste a lot of your time. Just be a trustworthy person.
Again, building your confidence in mathematics learning helps. You can build your confidence in the following ways.
One is to make sure that you have the formulas at your fingertips.
Keep a notebook for your Mathematics formulas in which you can write the formulas in a language that you can understand personally. Each and every day make sure that you go through the formulas.

Get used to the formula, recollect and rewrite them, know the conditions under which they are sued as well. This way you get to familiarize yourself with the formulas.
To test yourself whether you have understood the formulas, just take a few examples without the answers. after you have worked them out compare the answer you got to the provided. Mathematics at the WASSCE or BECE level can be easy if you keep doing this. This is the secret of the students who solve nearly every question in your Mathematics class.
Believe me, after several practices, no question concerning the formula you have passed through will ever give you a headache no matter how difficult it is. You can also take a past exam paper for WASSCE or BECE with the questions concerning the formulas you have gone through and practiced.
