Hitches free curriculum training for Private Schools

Private Schools show Gov’t how Curriculum training is organized with the commencement of the new curriculum training. The private schools Standard Base Curriculum training started this week without any form of hitches. No junk food for teachers, no hitches to call for any complains as was the case with public schools.

The training commenced on Saturday with over 1200 participants. Teachers were grouped into 24 classes and were taken through the new curriculum by some 54 private schools master trainers.

The master trainers had already undergone 5 days of intensive residential training organized by the NaCCA.

The government must learn from the success the private schools are choking already and reengineer the way it organized the training for teachers. Public school teachers deserve absolute respect. Their dignity and value must be respected as well. 

Never again should the government organize such training with flaws of the highest magnitude as experienced during the training.

Public school teachers do not deserve junk food nor must they go through harsh conditions and have a bad feeling towards the government over allowances they are due for attending the training aimed to help equip them to deliver on the job. 

Private schools that are yet to register for the training should visit privateschoolsgh.com to register. Each school must choose the training centre prefered for the training. This comes with the training date to enable the right vhoice to be made by schools. Proximity to your school should be a key issue when selecting a training centre.

The Ghana National Council Of Private Schools -GNACOPS is calling on schools to take advantage of the training to improve teaching and learning in private schools at the basic school level. All private schools are to comply with this directive.
