WASSCE 2020 students to go home, exams postponed

Decisions taken include
l. the WASSCE (SC) 2020 Timetable be suspended until further notice;
2. the conduct of WASSCE (SC) 2020be put on hold until further notice;
3. directives (1) and (2) will be reviewed when the health situation improves.
Kindly note the information for further action and communicate the directives to the Ministry of
Education and the general public in your country.
This means a new WASSCE 2020 date and time table will be provided to the general public later. However the time it will come out is not known ow.

All Final Year students in public health training institutions to go home is the latest directive from the Ministry of Health to all Principals and Head of Nursing training colleges across the country preparing for the 2020 final exams.

This directive comes days after the teacher unions petition the GES and the Ministry of Education on the need to ensure all final year students stay at home just like all other schools and classes up to the university level.

Whiles the government and GES are yet to come out with any new directive for the WASSCE and 2020 BECE final students, the press release by the Ministry of Health indicated that all students are to go home today, 18th March 2020 until further notice to help fight the Coronavirus disease. Final Year WASSCE/BECE students and teacher unions are waiting to see the next directive by the government.
MOH pls do something to save these little ones the WASSCE CANDIDATES as now there is no hand sanitizers for them in the schools which is very serious .we count on you act immediately in order to save their lives
We’re pleading the president of the republic of Ghana to allow all final year students to shut down ”due to fear and panic on the students and their parents on the manace of the COVID-19,we’re adamant in full concentration and focus on our studies”.this will create a far adverse effect in both curricular and accademical performance.
Allowing final students go home is to affect us massively as now we are fully prepared for the exam
we are all praying that the Lord will release us from this crisis called Coronavirus.
