Keep The Church Clean!! Avoid indecent dressing to the presence of God
The LORD does not look at the things man looks at. Man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart. 1 Samuel 16:7
I am sure you, my reader is very familiar with the above bible quotation. It is going to be very difficult to have the kind of heart and relationship God wants to have with all his children when you are messed up dressed inappropriately in his presence. You personally or intentionally dressed the way you did.
It is good to be fashionable but it is unwise to be improperly dressed before the throne of grace.
This scripture tells us of the wonderful truth about God who looks at our hearts, sees the pain, sees the bruises including the battering. God indeed sees every break that our heats have to endure. It does not say, you can dress like in clothes that the “worldly” takes pride in into His presence.
“Cleanliness is indeed next to godliness” is credited to John Wesley’s 1778 sermon and is relevant to us all today. He who wants to serve God diligently must be clean inside out including the kind of clothes you put on to church. Clean clothes must not necessarily be expensive.
There are churches today that are encouraging all manner of indecent dressing to attract the youth to the house of God.

This is excellent but when these youth come to know Christ, they must be won off these ungodly clothes as soon as possible.
Keeping the church clean also means putting our mobile phones off or on silent.
Keep the house of God clean and stop disturbing the faithful and the workings of the Holy Spirit.
Let the truth be told, many of us, pick calls during service and walk out, others chat on social media while the service is ongoing, we have to make a conscious effort to stop these attitudes form messing up our time with God during church services.
