GES is Not recruiting, disregard any such information. The Ghana Education Service has through its social media platform – Facebook page debunked a news making rounds on social media regarding the commencement of recruitment of new teachers to fill vacancies ahead of the 2019/2020 academic year,
In a simple post shared on the GES Facebook page, it advised teachers and the general public to disregard the new. It indicated that
- GES is Not recruiting
- GES has Not directed Newly Trained teachers to pay 40 cedis to apply for their postings.
Do not be deceived!!
This means all teachers who meet the basic requirements for posting must wait to officially get the green light from the Ghana Education Service and the Ministry of Education to take the necessary action.

The management of Ghana Education Service wishes to inform all newly trained teachers currently undertaking their national service to visit any GBC Bank across the country and pay 40ghc to buy voucher and apply for their posting which is scheduled to take effect on September 2019.
This exercise will commence from 13th August to 19th August 2019.
Therefore applicants should ensure that they have their DBE certificate, Birth certificate TIN and their provisional license certificate available with them which will be needed in the registration process.
