We look forward to the Ghana Football Association helping to develop grass root football in the country, help revamp juvenal football from the schools to unearth budding talents like Dzahene Daniel and his teams’ mates. This way we can produce the likes of Micheal Essien, Ni Odartey Lamptey, Smuel Osei Kuffour and Abedi Pele just a few to mention for the youth national teams and the black stars.
Most of Ghana’s best players were picked from such events however, the decline in support for grass root football in Ghana has negatively impacted our efforts to develop and many talents have gone unnoticed. We call on the authorities in charge of unearthing talents at the grass root to support the efforts of basic schools in organizing such important sports events on the school calendar to boast the moral of the kids and help develop talents for the future of Ghana football. This is the sure way to getting and polishing raw and good talents like Dzahene Daniel and his team mates.
Hoviefe EP Primary will have the bragging rights for the next one year whiles the other schools will surely come back stronger at the next competition. Juvenile football system of Ghana can be revived and it begins with these young lads if Ghana wants to enjoy the good old days again.
