RNAQ’s Generosity Inspired My Campus Food bank” – UMaT WoCom reveals

Miss Sharifa Haruna, SRC Women’s Commissioner at the University of Mines and Technology (UMaT), has credited renowned Ghanaian businessman Richard Nii Armah Quaye as a key inspiration behind her Campus Food Bank initiative.

Speaking during the official launch, she revealed that the idea was not only driven by personal experiences but also by the impactful philanthropic works of RNAQ.

“I was greatly inspired by Richard Nii Armah Quaye (RNAQ), whose acts of giving continue to touch lives and encourage young people like myself to serve humanity,” she stated.

According to a post made by CampusInsider, this influence, combined with real-life challenges faced by students, shaped her vision to create a support system that ensures no UMaT student goes hungry, especially during critical academic periods.
