Download Term 1 Scheme of Learning (SOL) for Basic 7 to 9

The 2023 academic year is underway, and you can download the Scheme of Learning (SOL) for Basic 7 to Basic 9. The Scheme of Learning (SOL) resources provided here are not the product of NewsGhana24 but PB Page Consult.
The realities of the SOL and Lesson Plans based on the new curriculum are as follows.
1. The students for each class are new
2. The curriculum remains the same
3. The SOL will remain the same until the 2019 curriculum is altered
4. If a teacher is assigned a new class or subject, the SOL for term one since 2020 applies. No need to reinvent the wheel.
5. Lesson Plans remain the same. Teachers however must do some research and improve on the delivery. Knowing the level of your student, you should be able to provide guidance to get knowledge transferred and shared with learners.

We hope these SOLs uploaded here help you plan your first term of the 2023 academic year for Junior High School lessons as teachers.
Be reminded that the term ends on 21st April 2023 and has 15 weeks of school work with National Public Holidays in March and April for Ghana’s Independence Day and the Easter Breaks (Good Friday and Easter Monday.)

Schools will break for the above holidays hence teachers need to take note when preparing lessons for the JHS learners using the Scheme of Learning provided for each class.
