You deserve students’ reactions because of your “Bogus” education system – Asiedu Nketia to Akufo-Addo

General Mosquito, the National General Secretary of the NDC, believes President Akufo-Addo and his government got what they deserve from the Free SHS candidates sitting for the WASSCE 2020 exams.
The seemingly frustrated students can only be described as visibly anxious since the examination kick-started on 3rd August.

The examination has been affected by student demonstrations, alleged leakage of examination questions and student, head-teachers, teachers, and invigilators engaging in all kinds of examination malpractices.
Some students had complained over the strict invigilation and supervision on day one during the Integrated Science paper. Others have assaulted invigilators and media men.
They complained in videos that went viral that they would not write the examination because what they were made to study materials that were never featured in the questions put forth by the examining body, WAEC.
Whiles venting their frustration over the issue, they had the courage to rain insults on Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for his bad educational system. The students believe the government’s educational system (Free SHS) did not prepare them well for the examination and have threatened to vote against him on December 7th.

Johnson Asiedu Nketia (General Mosquito) whiles speaking on NEAT FM’s morning show ‘Ghana Montie’ indicated he agreed with the students. He described the current education system under President Nana Addo as “Bogus”
“I have said this before, I have raised questions concerning the path this government is taking our education system. That is the result we are seeing today. You cannot ask students to sit for exams when there is a lack of tuition. What he [Nana Addo] deserves is what he has gotten,” he said.
Johnson Asiedu Nketia further added that the students were not taught prior to the WAEC exams and that is what is breeding the kind of reaction from the students.
