Shell Ghana fuel prices are up today, May 17, 2024, following the continuous fall of the cedi on the foreign exchange market.

Effective today, Shell Ghana is selling a litre of petrol for GHS14.65, while diesel is selling at the same price; however, the premium fuel from the Shell pump is going for GHS15.31 per litre.

Based on the new fuel prices quoted by Shell Ghana,

The cost of the full tank of fuel for a  Land Cruiser is ₵1,896 – 2,041
The cost of the full tank of fuel for a F-150 is ₵1,323 – 1,573
The cost of the full tank of fuel for an Altima is ₵922 – 1,096
The cost of the full tank of fuel for a Sorento is ₵909 – 1,080
The cost of the full tank of fuel for a Corolla is ₵735 – 873
The cost of the full tank of fuel for an Elantra is ₵668 – 794

The continuous increase in prices at the pump is likely to agitate an increase in the prices of goods and services as well as lorry fares by private transport operators in Ghana.
