3 years after Major Mahama was murdered where is the justice?
Hypocritical Ghanaians are screaming on top of their voices, crucify the police officers, in the US George Floyd murder BLACK LIVES MATTER but we have soon forgotten three years ago on May 29, Major Mahama was murdered at Upper Denkyira West District of the Central Region.
3 years on, Ghana has learnt no lessons, we have even forgotten him. Indeed, out of sight, out of mind. Although his death shook us all, the question is has justice been served?
For now, all we have to show are a statue of Major Mahama and a trust fund. Our attitudes have remained the same and in many cases even worse.

Major Maxwell Adam Mahama was lynched by some residents of Denkyira Obuasi and the reason they gave was that he was an armed robber. The investigator on the case revealed in February 2020 that the slain military officer was shot by two f the 14 suspects while others beat him with any harmful object they could lay their hands on.
According to facts as of March 2020, the actual crime suspects who killed Major Mahama are still on the run three years after the evil.
When will this case come to successful completion and if the actual suspects are still at large, what have the police and BNI being doing for 3 years now?
Whiles we chant here in Africa and Ghana, let us remove the stick in our eyes and arrest the killers of the major, get justice served, and stop the noise about George Floyd.
Justice delayed is justice denied, our security agencies must be held responsible for failing to perform their duties if it is true that the real suspects or persons who committed the crime are still on the run. This case must be brought to a conclusion and the public need to know where we are.
