Coronavirus worldwide: Above 1,200,000 cases with a total of 214 in Ghana

The latest coronavirus update confirms more than 1,200,000 cases worldwide and 270,098 recovered as the mortality reaches up to 70,356.
As the global figures of coronavirus cases rise, Ghana records a total of 214 with a total of 5 killed due to the novel virus COVID-19. The president of Ghana claims Ghana Health Services is on a wait for the coronavirus test results which will inevitably determine the fate of the coronavirus in the country.
Ghana plans on extending the lockdown in an effort to contain the virus spread if test results come back positive.
Meanwhile, the World Health Organisation has been active since the outbreak stating measures to stay safe on it’s website in connection to the periodic global “situation reports.”
In partnership with the UNICEF announced on Friday, 3rd March 2020 WHO decides to fight the coronavirus pandemic via the COVID-19 Solidarity Respond Fund.
WHO recently, in correlation with its partners also called on an urgent investment in nurses to increase and strengthen the healthcare workforce worldwide.
