HOT VIDEO: Free Education 419…Kumasi SHS students ridicule government

Free Education 419…Free Education 419 is the new trending song in town amongst disgruntled SHS students. According to the students, the Free SHS is a scam.

The trending video is from Kumasi High School Students who feel cheated and shortchanged by the government.

The student who are of the view that Free SHS is a scam and will not be quiet over it.  The students have composed the new song to ridicule the Free Senior High School program since they were not part of the students whose WASSCE 2020 fees have been paid by the government.

The President of Ghana in his address ahead of the reopening of school for final year students indicated that the government had paid the full exam fees for all 2020 WASSCE candidates.

Just as WAEC clarifies that as not entirely true, the song by the Kumasi High School Students confirms it.

Their video has been trending online. They recorded the video a few days ago Senior High Schools in the Ashanti Region. Let the record be made clearer that the government has not absorbed all WASSCE registration of all Senior School Students for the year 2020.

The President indicated that 75.4 million cedis has been paid as the cost of exams and administrative charges for 2020 WASSCE on the even of the return to school of final year students and their second-year gold track counterparts.

The students reacting to the statement of the president came up with their own songs to describe how they feel about the ‘Free SHS’ as it is not ‘FREE’ after all. At least not for students in Private SHS and those that have not been recognized by the government.
