Final year students, teachers face Covid-19 as they eye WASSCE 2020 exams
WASSCE, Gold track students & Teachers face Covid-19 today as they eye WASSCE 2020 exams. Final year students who had their exams postponed due to COVID-19 are expected to use the first few weeks to wrap up preparation for their final examination.
Over 300,000 candidates are expected to write the WASSCE 2020 exams and WAEC is expected to organize the examination for only Ghana.

. “For the first time in our nation’s history, the government will absorb WASSCE examination fees for all final year students costing about GHS 75.4 million (754 billion old cedis)” the president said during his 12th address to the nation.

These students are the first batch of the Free SHS students who are also called the Akufo-Addo graduates.
The resumption of teaching and learning is to be guided by the adherence to all safety protocols to help avoid the spread of COVID-19.
Whiles our final year students go back to school to finish hard, they must together with teachers do all that is humanly possible to stay safe.
Students and staff who will break the safety protocols must not be entertained.
The president announced that the government will absorb the full examination fees of all students sitting for the 2020 West Africa Senior School Certification Examination (WASSCE) in public schools.
