In recent times Ghanaians have been mocking the NPP goverment due to the repeatative curruption andcurruption scandals that have rocked the nation and government under the Nana Addo led administration.

The Outspoken musician and politician, Kwame Asare Obeng, better known as A Plus has taken a swipe at the ruling New Patriotic Party for organizing a press conference to tell Ghanaians how corrupt the previous administration was.

He could just not understand why the NPP organized the press conference. He asked “You are telling us so that we do what? We for go and arrest them for you or what?”

The leading opposition party in Ghana, The National Democratic Congress on Monday to point out what they describe as corrupt practices by the current administration, the NPP organized another presser on Tuesday to point out corrupt activities under the previous administration.

However, Aplus is of the view that the NPP press conference was a non-starter. To him, the misplaced priority was obvious and instead of the government taking action against those they claimed were corrupt in the NDC led government before the 2016 elections, they are holding press conferences. 

“Almost 3 years after you were given power by the good people of Ghana to investigate and prosecute former appointees of the NDC you accused of being corrupt, you are there organizing press conferences to tell us how corrupt they were. After giving 180 million Ghana cedis to Martin Amidu you are there organizing press conferences to talk about corruption. Ah!!! Wait ooo. You are telling us so that we do what? We for go and arrest them for you or what?,” he wrote.
