Reasons, why the NDC’s move to develop Election 2020 Manifesto, must worry serious NPP diehards abound. We cannot deny that the NDC will take good advantage of the weaknesses hunting the current NPP administration to evolve a manifesto that will bring hope to Ghanaians.
The move comes at a time when there seem to be many floating voters who are unhappy with many happenings in Ghana. The scandals and corruption-related stories that make our headlines on a daily basis are too many to ignore.

NDC’s move to develop Election 2020 Manifesto Message
In a statement captured on the Facebook wall of the former president and flag bearer of the National Democratic Congress, John Dramani Mahama revealed the part has begun to consult stakeholders to draw a manifesto for the 2020 elections.
Every NPP faithful who wants the Nana Addo led government to be in power come 2021 must be worried about the move of the NDC.
For sure, the NDC must come out with a marketable realistic manifesto that will meet the dreams and aspiration of the teaming youth. A manifesto that is filled with realistic ambitions and sold to the electorate in the right way has the greatest potential to help wrestle power from a government that flattered Ghanaians with a manifesto.
In his statement, John Dramani Mahama said
We’ve begun a number of consultative meetings with various stakeholders, ahead of the development of the NDC’s manifesto and our campaign for the 2020 elections.
At a meeting with executives of the Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic Churches (GPCC), we held discussions on a number of subject areas, including corruption, a national development agenda, education, the Electoral Commission, security and the banking and financial sector.
I reiterated the NDC’s commitment to social democracy and a sustained development of all sectors of the country.
The NDC while going through this all-important process must guard against leaking of vital information from such meetings into the public domain.
The leadership of the NDC including John Dramani Mahama must try not to give tips on what is being done on this until the time to outdoor the manaifesto.
The NPP must do same so that we have two great competing manifestoes come 2020. However, the NPP will have a lot to do if they want to win the hearts of the teeming Ghanaians who are disappointed for varied reasons.
