Did Nana Addo CHOOSE DEATH for us?
Obviously, we at Blue Kiosk Dairies are against the compilation of a new voter register because of reasons assigned by the EC. We were hoping that our Supreme Court would order the EC to use the existing voter register for the 2020 general election.
If the EC believed that they are aliens on the voter roll, that belief must be grounded on empirical evidence, the eligibility of identified aliens should be contested in a court of law, details of those found capable should be removed from the existing voter roll according to law.

Nana Addo acting through the Chairpersons of EC stood his grounds despite humongous opposition from CSOs, House of Chiefs, labour unions, some open-minded prominent individuals. One wonders the agenda of the President.
Many people thought that once the matter went for adjudicature at Supreme Court, the outcome would be bothered on the pros and cons of the issue but alas, the decision of the Supreme Court didn’t seat well with the majority of Ghanaians including level minded sympathizers of the NPP.
The exercise to compile a completely new voter register began on the 30th June 2020 five months to general elections. The exclusion of existing voter ID card and birth certificate as proof of citizenship of prospective applicants coupled with the EC decision to consolidate polling centers have complicated the registration process leading massing up of registrants at the registration centers.

There was a report that 20 persons who reported at a registration center in Korlebu Accra, had symptoms of Covid19. How many of such suspended covid19 carriers are amongst the million hustling to acquire the new voter ID card around the country?
The EC has not made do on their promise to provide enough PPEs for their field workers, to ensure social distance, Veronica buckets, thermometer guns to check temperature of applicants at the centers.
Although the government continues to discharge covid19 patients without double testing, the daily new cases average 500. According to the Ghana Medical Association, our facilities are almost overstretched, a situation that will affect health service delivery and subsequently increase the number of covid19 deaths.
As we all go through the dangerous mission to acquire the new voter ID card to end this curse of Nana Addo npp government, we call on you to as much as possible observe the covid19 protocols.
