Barcelona Set To Sign Germany Defender On A Free Deal

Football Club Barcelona will be willing to sign the Germany and Bundesliga star on a free transfer to join their roster for the 2025/26 football season to help them in both the La Liga and UEFA competitions.
La Liga giants Football Club Barcelona are reportedly interested in signing German defender Jonathan Tah on a free transfer in the coming transfer window. Jonathan Tah’s contract with Bundesliga giants Bayern 04 Leverkusen is expected to end at the end of the 2024/25 football season, and the German defender is not willing to renew his contract, per reports, but is expected to move to a different club.
Hansi Flick will be willing to add the experienced Tah to join his side, helping them with the defensive duties of the team. His physical presence and ball-playing ability will make him a valuable asset for Barcelona as the team continues to fight for trophies in the Spanish La Liga and also in UEFA Cup games on the European continent. Tah’s signing could lead to the club selling one or more of the current defenders in the squad, including Andreas Christensen and Ronald Araujo, who had recently been linked with Italian giants Juventus.
With Barcelona currently on the verge of winning the treble this season under new manager Hansi Flick, they will be willing to repeat the same thing next season after they have brought in new players and sold old players to other football clubs at a fee. Barcelona is currently leading the La Liga title race with 73 points after 32 games played, scoring a total number of 88 goals and conceding only 32. Barcelona are also in the semifinals of the UEFA Champions League Competition and are the favorites to win the competition. They are also in the finals of the Copa del Rey competition and will be playing against Real Madrid, who have lost twice this season whenever they play Barcelona.
