St. Augustine’s College wins NSMQ2019: Champions with bragging rights
St. Augustine’s wins NSMQ2019 finals held at the National Theater, Accra after they beat the much fancied, PRESEC and St. Peters
Round one of finals saw St. Augustine grab 26 points whiles PRESEC and St. Peters the defending champions obtained 21 points and 12 points respectively.
Students present at the finale chanted slogans and sang to cheer their school up throughout the event.

In the second round, St. Augustine’s College maintained the lead towards a second NSMQ trophy with 28 points followed by PRESEC who flattered to deceive with 20 points after answering a question wrong in round 2.
The problem of the day was an all equal affair as all three finalist obtained 1 point each. Round four just followed the same trend as it ended in favour of the very determined St Augustine’s College. They obtained 36 points whiles PRESEC had 34 points and the defending champions also obtained 25 points to bring the contest to an end.

By this feat they have extended PRESEC’s impatient wait to win the trophy and also denied St. Peters the chance to win the trophy back to back. But St. Peters can be proud of themselves having performed well as defending champions and to be in the finals is no mean achievement.
Congratulations to all the three teams, but more importantly St. Augustine’s College in Cape Coast for wining the NSMQ2019, You are the Champions with bragging rights for the next One year. Better luck to all the other schools.
