The National Teaching Council (NTC) has officially opened the registration portal for the 2026 Ghana Teacher Licensure Examination (GTLE) 1. This mandatory exercise is part of the Council’s mandate to ensure that all educators in Ghana meet the required professional standards for effective classroom delivery.

Fees for Fresh Candidates: GH¢ 450.00 for all three papers.

Purchase Examination Voucher: Dial the short code *772*51# on any network to pay for your voucher via Prudential Bank Ltd.
Online Registration: Log in to the official portal at using your voucher serial number and PIN.
Final Submission: Upload a clear passport-sized photograph (white background, under 250kb) and print your summary report.

The NTC has warned that “any person who is not qualified… and goes ahead to make any payment will not have a refund”. To safeguard your GH¢ 450.00 fee, avoid these mistakes:
