Find out list of examinations suspended due to COVID-19

The list of examinations suspended and the excitement and relief it brought to students is enough indication that examinations have been putting so much stress on our learners across the world.
The postponement of national examinations was greeted with wild jubilation among students and parents especially by students preparing for the BECE and WASSCE.
University students in UG Legon were also excited when the university called midsemester exams off and KNUST students demanded the postponement of the same which was a successful call after the government closed all schools to avoid the spread of COVID-19.
In Ghana, the list of National Examinations suspended amid the COVID-19 is worth noting.

Collectively, a total of 6 national examinations have been indefinitely suspended by the West African Examinations Council (WAEC), The National Inspectorate Board (NIB), and The National Teaching Council (NTC) among others.
The managers of the agencies listed above are expected to set new dates and communicate them to stakeholders during the post COVID-19 era.
The suspended or postponed examinations include
1. West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) -APRIL/MAY
2. Basic Education Certificate Examination BECE – (JUNE)
3. May/June General and Advanced Business Certificate Examinations
4. Technical vocational pre-tertiary final year examinations
5. International certification examinations for private schools (IGCSE)
6. Teacher Licensure Examinations (March)
The various bodies will come out with new dates and time tables.
