The GES is in a crunch meeting with the KNUST SHS management and the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) of the school. The purpose of the meeting per our mirroring is to understanding the current situation in the school and what led to the death of the student.
News broke that a student was left to die after he had shown symptoms of COVID-19. This unfortunate outcome led to a demonstration of the students of the school.
The Ghana Police was called in to restore order. But some members of the Ghanaian public have indicated that the teachers of the school must be blamed first for what happened. Others are of the view that the school authority must take the blame with a greater percentage pf it going to government for not providing teaches in the school with the needed tools ie PPEs to carry out their duties.
The meeting between the GES, KNUST leaders and PTA are still locked in a meeting.
