Father rapes daughter to test for her virginity

I raped my daughter to ascertain if she’s still a VIRGIN- Father tells court. The father a man in his late 30’s made this shocking revelation at a magistrate court.

According to him, he raped her to confirm the virginity status. He said he did that to protect her.

According to his own statement, the incident took place while he was ascertaining if his daughter had lost her virginity.

When he discovered she was “intact” and a virgin, he started having sexual intercourse with her on a regular basis. This happened before the girl leaves for school and at night.

The magistrate warned all fathers to desist from abusing their children, with much emphasis on those who sexually abuse their daughter and other under aged girl.

She believes that, such fathers are permitting the devil to use them which is destroying our society.

The accused was remanded in the Agodi prison in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State, Nigeria pending legal advice that will emanate from the office of the Director of Public Prosecutions. The case was and adjourned to July 30, 2019.

Acts such us this surely destroys our society, and can increase teenage pregnancy among other social challenges.

This is also an abuse of the rights of the child relating to sexual health and choices.

We’ve got to move out of our primitive mindsets in this continent and begin to act reason and think like people in the 21^st century.
