Coronavirus: WASSCE 2020 students asked to Go home -GES
Go home now! GES declares to all WASSCE 2020 students. All final year students have been asked to go home per the GES directive captured in a press release a few hours after the WAEC postponed the WASSCE 2020 examination due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The letter dated 20th March 2020 and signed by Prof Kwesi Opoku-Amankwa indicates that the GES has resolved that, final year students should be allowed to go home.

Final year students are therefore to exit campuses effective and the schools are closed down on Monday 23rd March 2020
It also indicated that it is in a discussion with the WAEC with regards to the BECE. The GES has indicated that all WASSCE final year students should go home as it takes the necessary steps to keep students busy.
