WASSCE 2020 postponed, BECE 2020 to be postponed and rescheduled if it becomes extremely necessary. WASSCE 2020 Postponed, and the WASSCE time table has been suspended according to a press release sighted by NewsGhana24.com dated 20th March 2020 and signed by E.K Myers, the registrar. However, the examining body is yet to come out with a memo on the 2020 BECE.
According to our sources, the BECE is yet to be decided on. It is possible that the 2020 BECE will not be postponed since the exams is three months from now.
Unlike the WASSCE which is about commencing this March with practicals, the June 10th date for the BECE may not compel the GES and the WAEC to come to a consensus on postponing it now.
It is however expected that the candidates will be made to stay at home whiles the country battles with the COVID-19. The continued increase in COVID-19 cases is liked to force the WAEC, GES, and MoE to ask candidates to stay at home.
