Bright Danso is a young Ghanaian artist who makes some of the word’s beat rare artworks with fire. Yes, fire they say is a good servant but a bad master but for Danso Bright, when a master artist and a student at the Technical University studying Industrial Painting and Design (HND)
The blending of his talent, quality, and love for arts making with the “master fire” bring forth end result filled with innovation that wows art lovers.
His unique art which is using fire for artwork creation producing results that are not only amazing but are perfectly produced. Bright Danso makes artworks with fire not by chance but by choice which makes him unique in sharing his emotions and feelings as an artist.
His kind of art is called Pyrography which is quite rare in Ghana and many parts of the world. Bright apart from using fire to bring out the bright and attractive images that resonate with his name, he also does sculpturing and is a painter as well.
The young multi-talented Ghanaian is a rare breed of talent in his field of arts. His love for fire for artworks was inspired by his lecturer whiles in school.
According to him, his lecture made him understand and appreciate the fact that using fire for artwork creation is a great idea and that when the heat is present, it compels people to think well. This got him to choose to use heat in his artworks so that, he could think creatively and produce unique and quality art pieces using fire.
His work is an inspiration for many especially art lovers across Ghana and he looks forward to becoming a globally recognized Pyrographer.
One of his artworks he named “Black Unitech” was inspired by the fact that one cannot see through what is going on in another person’s mind let alone tell what is going on there. The meaning is that one cannot be judged by his or her physical looks.
Another artwork he created was what he called the “Legacy table”. It happens to be the first-ever Pyrography table ever to be made in the world. That is quite a remarkable achievement.
This got him thinking and lead to his new project which has to do with using heat to decorate wooden furniture. Bright Danso is ambitious and believes with his love for fire and arts, he would create jobs for many artizans or craftsmen who produce furniture.
A gallery is also on his mind so that he can have all his artworks in a one-stop-shop location for those who love arts.

In an interview with Trendit360, he revealed that the arts industry in Ghana has prospects. Many parents want their children to be doctors, lawyers and not painters or artists. When we put this question to him he indicated that every parent wants the best for their children and they will love and uphold the fact that their wards become the best in their lifetime.
Most times, parents have aspirations for their children which are different from what the children want to become in the future.

“Myself been a victim to this, I would love to use my experience to communicate the necessary views on this note. According to Warren Buffett’s 26 secrets to success, Secret 3 says “Following your passion will lead you to success”.”
“Art is an expressive way one share their thoughts and emotions, for centuries Art, has played major roles in the development of many countries to mention but a few, Dubai, Europe, Asia and so on but the Educational System In Ghana and the art industry has not placed emphasis on the importance of Art for Economic Development. “
“The best advice I would give to any parent to allow their wards Pursue Art and make it one of their honorable profession like Doctorate, layer and so on is that the art profession is a tool that can develop not just the home but the world because Art forms part of our daily life and that’s why we say Art is Life,” He said.
According to him, he will be taking part in the exhibition with a Ghanaian American based artist on the theme “Return to the Future” in Accra Ghana on the 10 and 11 of January Cantonments at the Secrete Garden.
In the area of education, he looks forward to completing his 3 years course in industrial painting and Design (HND) in 2020 and to further his education in any part of the world where his gift and passion for arts can further be developed, enhanced and loved.
” I would love to do my Masters Degree at Texas Tech University or Florence Academy of Art” he added.
The Fire For Artwork Creation gem has big dreams that would be realized. He called on Ghana and Africa to love arts, and patronize it.
His furniture designs are all made by him but they meet global standards and worth having in homes, hotels, and restaurants and historic sites, as well as Africans in the Diaspora, are falling in love with his unique arts. He foresees becoming a global brand and a brand ambassador for Pyrography.
