Alan will demonstrate leadership and will not run a corrupt government; give him chance to be Ghana’s president’- Buaben Asamoa
Yaw Buaben Asamoa, a member of the Movement for Change (M4C) campaign team, has urged Ghanaians to offer Alan Kyerematen an opportunity to become the country’s next president.
The former Trade and Industry Minister is qualified, competent, and not dishonest, according to the private attorney.
Mr. Asamoa said that after trying the two main political parties without seeing any discernible progress, it is high time for Ghanaians to give an independent candidate a chance to lead.
He lamented, “Despite the trust and confidence we had in the National Democratic Congress and the New Patriotic Party, they have both presented incompetent people to lead.”
The lawyer also highlighted that, “Every time these two political parties manage the country, they mismanage the economy, lead us to the International Monetary Fund, and cause an energy crisis, known as ‘dumsor’.”
He promised Ghanaians living in Ghana and those living abroad that “Alan will demonstrate leadership and will not run a corrupt government filled with family, friends, or cronies.”
Buaben Asamoa went on to say that Alan would address corruption in order to stop the misappropriation of public funds and make authorities responsible.
According to Buaben Asamoa, if Alan is elected president, a unity government will be established to advance national development. If elected president, he further pledged that the Alan administration would not have more than forty ministers.
He made these statements during an interview on Rainbow Radio 92.4 FM in the UK.
He encouraged Ghanaians living in the UK to hold onto their optimism that under a new Alan administration, things would get better rather than give up on their homeland.
He urged them to convince their friends and relatives to support Alan Kyerematen in the election and to share the M4C message.
Ghanaian politician Alan John Kwadwo Kyerematen was born on October 3, 1955. From 2017 to 2023, he was Ghana’s Minister of Trade and Industry.
