2020 Nov/Dec Exam Centre Trouble Could Impact Monday’s Papers

This year’s WASSCE for Private Candidates also known as Nov/Dec will start across Ghana on Monday, 26th October 2020 however, there is trouble.
The examining body, WEAC, is yet to release the various examination centres nationwide for candidates which may be a technical problem. This was disclosed in a post by WAEC sighted by Edulearnweb.com.
The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has said the WASSCE for Private examination when commenced on Monday 26th October 2020 will end on Thursday, December 17, 2020.

Candidates who are to take part in the delayed exams have indicated they are frustrated because they are unable to access their Nov/Dec centres on the portal of WAEC so as to know where they will write the exams.

WAEC has however disclosed that all candidates facing this challenge should contact its hotline to get the issue resolved. Such candidates are to call the (233) 302 208201-9 or visit its nearest office.
2020 Nov/Dec have also been directed to visit any WAEC office closer to them in all the districts and regional capitals to get help.
WAEC after proactively extending the WASSCE for Private Candidates registration deadline finally ended it on September 21, 2020, at 11: 55 pm.
The exam has been delayed as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic and students who have been preparing for these exams for close to a year hoping they will have access to their Exams centre details so as to take the exams and move on to the tertiary level if they are successful with the exam.
Failure of candidates to know their Nov/Dec centres before Monday may create problems for the candidates and WAEC.
