WHY MOST LEARNERS DON’T GIVE MUCH ATTENTION TO FRENCH LANGUAGE?
French as second official language, is it necessary to learn? Why do most learners hate this subject facilitators?
Most learners have made french as a hard and very complicated subject. This might be based on the facilitators’ behaviour. Half truth is that some french language facilitators cane a lot when it comes to oral practices and the last 10 minutes when he/she is checking up what they have learnt. Most learnt, 90% learners hate the subject, and some will tell you they haven’t been learning french language, this their first time.
Facilitators need to have a nice approach, bringing learners to understand why studying french language as second official is very necessary for their future career,
Yes, the total withdrawal of caning in Africa is far from being a reality, but in all sincerity, we recognize that corporal punishment has never been the only ideal solution towards quality learning.
Let us do our best, dear colleagues and friends, to create a more welcoming, more tolerant atmosphere for these children, however difficult it seems.
The fact that for us, a certain culture has marked us, does not mean that we must automatically perpetuate its practices regardless of the realities of the hour.
The man who learns is the man who knows how to change and adapt well.
Remember that every facilitator is above all a learner; so let’s be the best learners there are.
