Kumasi Asante Kotoko defied all odds to beat bragging Kano Pillars at the Baba Yara sports stadium in Kumasi by 2 goals to nil.

The African Club of the 20th Century, Kumasi Asante Kotoko want to prove a point by entering the money zone of the CAF champions league. The team is two games away from achieving that feat without a league season in Ghana.
