GFA NC in trouble, money transferred into wrong account, cash disappears may sound funny but our sources indicate that the current football governing body, The Ghana Football Association (GFA) Normalisation Committee (NC) is in hot waters as a result of this.
This was after it transferred the Special Competition funds meant for the Berekum Chelsea football club into a wrong account.

Speaking to Asempa FM, Alhaji Yakubu Moro, the bankroller of Berekum Arsenal, revealed that the Normalisation Committee (NC) transferred their portion of funds into rather the account of Berekum Chelsea.
Alhaji Moro added that contacts were made with the wrong recipients Berekum Chelsea through its owner Mr. Oden Nana Kwame Nketia.
Mr. Oden Nana Kwame Nketia confirmed they club received the funds but due to some challenges with the account, the money is gone.
Alhaji Moro, described the Interim Committee thus the Normalisation Committee (NC) as comedians.
He holds the view that the committee is not cut out for football and know nothing about it. To him, the mistake is unpardonable.
“They [the NC] say they have transferred the money into our account but unfortunately, the money has mistakenly landed in the account of Nana Kwame Nketia [Brekum Chelsea],” he revealed.
“I have checked my account and found no money; I contacted Nana Kwame Brekum Chelsea’s owner], he confirmed the money came but it is gone because there was a problem with the account. How can you send Berekum Arsenal’s money into the account of Berekum Chelsea?
He minced no words and said “I don’t care where the money has gotten to; all I need is my money”
“They [NC] are incompetent, and they don’t know what they’re doing. I will take them to court if I don’t get my money. They should go to the National Theatre and act; they are comedians,” he fumed.
However, there are reports that other teams like Hasaacas and Ampem Darkoa Ladies have been settled.
