Vice-chancellors pledge to co-operate to ensure safety on campuses
An estimate of 200000 students and staff are expected to return to both public and private tertiary institutions (Universities) today 15th June to wrap up their final semester.
While speaking during the 11th address to the nation, President Akuffo Addo indicated that Vice-Chancellors of the universities, both public and private, have pledged that they would co-operate to ensure that the reopening and its associated safety protocols are adhered to.

The co-operation between government and the various universities are aimed at securing the lives of the nearly two hundred thousand – 200000 students, lecturers, and non-teaching staff, who will be returning to campus.
The president urged all students and staff to adhere to practice enhanced personal hygiene and social distancing protocols, wash their hands with soap under running water, refrain from shaking hands, and wear their masks to, in and from the lecture halls, and on the campus, generally.
