Sell your message, Mahama’s name not a campaign message – Nana Addo told
President Akufo-Addo has been advised to concentrate on his own message and not dwell on highlighting where John Mahama failed.
This advice came from EIB Broadcast journalist Nana Aba Anamoah who expressed disappointment in the president for attacking opposition leader John Mahama instead of selling his own message.
“The President in the Volta Region today should be telling us how many jobs he has created in the Volta Region alone. He should be telling us the numbers he has added on in the Volta Region alone, he shouldn’t be reminding us of what John Mahama did or didn’t do or said or hasn’t said. We are not interested in that,” She said.
“We are not angry enough, we are not demanding accountability enough. There are problems in the Volta Region he should be telling us what he has done to address that. We don’t want him to be telling us about John Mahama,” She added.
She urged Ghanaians, in general, to teach both the ruling NPP and opposition NDC a lesson.
“We should not give them attention unless they are fixing the problems of this country. Ghanaians must teach the NPP and NDC a lesson. I don’t think we have thought them a lesson. The only lesson we teach them is to decide that this person should take a break and that one should come in… but we need to teach them a very serious lesson,” She insisted.
