The college’s auditorium, a structure that has stood the test of time, now finds itself inadequate to accommodate the burgeoning number of students.

The event itself, which welcomed 240 new students across various Bachelor of Education programs, underscored the urgent need for infrastructural expansion to keep pace with the institution’s growth.
The college has taken a proactive step by securing the architectural design and bill of quantities for an ultra-modern auditorium, signaling readiness for financial backing from the GETFund or contributions from public-spirited organizations and individuals.
AMECO’s commitment to inclusivity and diversity in education shines through its admission policies.
Dr. Tsey proudly noted the college’s efforts to ensure gender balance, with nearly equal numbers of female and male students in the new intake.
Furthermore, AMECO extends opportunities to talented individuals from less-privileged backgrounds and those who have shown exceptional prowess in sports, reinforcing its mission to nurture potential across various societal segments.
The unveiling of a comprehensive five-year strategic plan alongside the matriculation ceremony marks a pivotal moment for AMECO.
This forward-looking blueprint emphasizes enhancing the quality of teaching and learning, creating a resilient infrastructure, and fostering an eco-friendly environment.
The strategic focus extends to leadership, quality management, stakeholder engagement, and embracing digital transformation to streamline operations and enrich the educational experience.
