If someone had told us Akufo-Addo will be ‘worse’, we would’ve argued- Angry Nurses
After picketing and demonstrating against government for jobs and finally getting posted, some aggrieved nurses are expressing further disappointment in President Akufo-Addo government for posting them when he knew there was no money to pay them after their work.
The angry nurses who claim they have worked for several month without pay say they are very disappointed in president Akufo-Addo because they “were not expecting this government to do that to us”. The aggrieved nurses spoke to Class FM monitored by MyNewsGH.com.

The nurses say but for their critical support, Nana Akufo-Addo wouldn’t be president and so he must address their concern with urgency.
“Nana Addo coming into power was basically based on us nurses because of the way Mahama was treating us with the allowance, so, we gathered together to bring Nana Addo to power, so, we are not expecting this government to even treat us like this”, the aggrieved nurse said.
“… We beg him [Akufo-Addo] to do something about it for us. It’s really not giving us the morale to work because when you are working with a client, you have to think of how to get money to come to work the next day, if you don’t come to work, too, your superiors will not take it lightly. That’s why we are really angry and we’re begging him to give us our money”

The nurses added that they are unable to stage a demonstration about their locked up salaries because of their tight work schedules.
“The worst is: we can’t start a demonstration or we can go on strike, and you know if we don’t go to work what will happen to the clients at the ward?”, they told Class.
