How Bullet stole my song and gave it to Wendy Shay- Kay Wusu
Kay Wusu is upset with artist manager Bullet because he is said to have used his song “Masakra” without permission. Kay Wusu says that he wrote, sang, and made the original song Masakra by Wendy Shay.
Kay Wusu says that Bullet came up to him and asked for his permission to remake the song, which he gave.
Bullet gave it to Wendy Shay, even though he didn’t keep his end of the deal.
“I’m not going to say that Wendy Shay took the song. But her team never kept the deal we made,” he told Emmanuel Agyeman on Onua FM’s Anigye mmre entertainment and lifestyle show.
In addition, Kay Wusu said that he had met Bullet and Wendy Shay and spoken with them about how they would both benefit from remaking the song.
“Bullet told me to meet him at his Botwe estate house, so I did. We made a good deal, and Wendy Shay bought me a drink to say thanks. They told me that they haven’t started recording yet, so neither of us is on the song yet.
“When the deal was first made, the song was meant for Ebony. I was going to get two features from her and a cut of what the song made.
But something unexpected happened, so we all agreed to give the song to Wendy Shay even though they were already done with it. They lied to me.”
As he talked about how people who cared about him told him about the “theft,” Kay Wusu kept talking about what happened before the theft. He went on to say that someone had claimed that his song was theirs and that Bullet had helped him out on the radio.
“As soon as I left his house, I got a lot of calls from people telling me that my song was out. I never thought it was true until I heard the song.
“Later, I heard someone tell Sammy Flex on Zylophon FM that he owns the song and got help from Bullet. “That’s the saddest part of the whole thing,” he said in the end.
