Grand Finale of 2019 Young Minds Intellectual Quiz Championship slated for May 27th
Grand Finale of 2019 Young Intellectual Quiz Championship slated for May 27th. The Young Minds Intellectual Quiz Championship 2018/2019 which has commenced last year with 28 basic schools in the Keta Municipality to be climaxed May 27th. The championship started with a tough preliminary, quarter-final stages.
At the end of the quarterfinals, eight (8) schools had made to the Semifinals.
These schools are Anlo State School, Global Evangelical Basic School, Abor E.P Basic School, Avete Basic School, Anseco Basic School, Little Roses School Complex, Shalom Shalom School and Ketasco Basic School.
The semifinal round came up between the eight schools which are put into groups of two, A and B. On the 15th May 2019 (Wednesday) at Anseco Basic School, Anloga it was contested between Anloga Anloga Anseco Basic School, Ketasco Basic School, Global Evangelical Basic School and Little Roses School Complex. At the end of the first Semis, Global and Anseco Basic have made it to the final from Group A.
For group B which happened on 22nd May between, Keta Anlo State School, Shalom Shalom School, Avete Basic School and Abor E.P Basic School at Keta Anlo State School, Avete Basic School and Anlo State School have also booked their place in the final from Group B.
As a result, the following Schools have qualified for the final.
Global Basic School, Anseco Basic School, Avete Basic School and Keta Anlo State School.
The GRAND FINALE is slated for 27th May 2019 at 9:00 am, inside Global Evangelical Church Bethany Chapel, Dzelukorpe. This is to Commemorates the Africa Union Day.
To grace, the final are Torgbi Jame Ocloo V, Dufia of Keta, Mr. Gabriel Osei Junior, Keta Municipal NSS, Director, MCE of Keta, Hon. Joseph Agbeko Kpogo and many more.
