GES loathing Distance Education Graduates
The Ghana Education Service don’t employ graduate who have their education through distance education system. Ghana has forty six college of education including private colleges and one private college of education who offer education through distance by name Jackson College of Education.

One numerous occasion when any person from GES been the director general or the public relation officer want to address the public that may involve the name and number of college of education they never include Jackson College of Education why because it been run through distance and the GES doesn’t have any recognition for it though they have accredited them to operate.

In 2016 the GES posted all the graduate from the above school to the basic schools mostly the deprived areas to teach and they are really on top of the profession. This has encourage more students to enrolled on the program with promises from the principal that the GES will employ them after the course.
But that not the case since 2016 to date 2020 all the graduate from this college are home with pass in the newly introduced teachers license examination , The mandatory national service which are the requirement for GES 2019 and 2020 recruitment . The most painful aspect of this issue is the management of the school only send message on WhatsApp platform to give empty hope and promise

THEY SHOULD NOT RUSH TO THE GES OFFICES, PUT PRESSURE ON THE OFFICE STAFF AND STOP CALLING ANY MEMBER OF MANAGEMENT 24 HOURS ANY TIME IN THE DAY OR DO ANYTHING THAT WILL JEOPARDIZE THE GREAT EFFORT WE HAVE MADE.
ONCE BITTEN TWICE SHY THE ADAGE GOES. IF THEY DO ANYTHING ON THE CONTRARY THEY WILL REGRET IN THE LONG RUN AS IT HAPPENED IN 2016.

1. What is preventing the GES from posting this graduate?
2. Why will the GES post 2016 graduate to compel most Student to go in for such program?
3. What is the relationship between management of the college and the GES ?
4. Did the GES approve or support distance education ?
5. The GES must make clear decision on whether they will post graduate from this college or not?
