GES Ghana learning TV now on StarTimes

GES Ghana learning TV is now on StarTimes. The Pay television service provider, StarTimes added the new educational channel to its DTH platform to help Ghanaian students at the JHS and SHS learn from home during the coronavirus pandemic.
The GL TV, a new 24-hour channel, is the brainchild of the Ghana Education Service (GES) geared towards distance learning for Senior High School and Junior High School students.
The channel can be accessed for free on the StarTimes decoder (channel #312), StarTimes said in a statement.
“GL TV channel 312 will is available to all subscribers including the over 6000 families who benefit from the StarTimes 300 villages’ program at no cost,” the statement said.

StarTimes is the leading digital TV operator in Africa, which aims to contribute to the safety of the public during these special times.
The Pay TV operator has also introduced a new educational program called Home Schooling on the ST KIDS channel #300. GES’ GL TV now on the pay television is welcome news for many homes.
