The leadership of the school and the SRC organized COVID-19 support services during which protective kits and packs containing hand gloves, sanitizers, and nose masks were supplied to students and some members of the community at the school premises.
Veronica buckets and essential cleaning supplies were also made available to some hostels where the school’s students lodge.
The institution went a step further to provide food items to its students ahead of the lockdown in Accra. Students in Pinnacle, those receiving tuition elsewhere and the general public benefited from the kind gesture of the institution in this trying times.
This corporate social responsibility of the institution is one of its kind by tertiary institutions in Ghana today. Effective social distancing on campus was visible as students come in their numbers in a well-organized manner to pick up their protective kits. The same best practices were in full force during the supply of food items to students.
The leadership of the school believes in times like this, showing concern for the wellbeing and safety of students is key.
“We want to put smiles on the faces of students and go out of our way to show we care. The safety of our customers (students) is a priority”.
The SRC executives of the school were grateful to the school leadership for supporting their efforts to reach out to students.
