Coronavirus: Free electricity for the vulnerable – Akufo-Addo

Government to absorb electricity bills of the vulnerable. This relief comes after water supply was pronounced free in the last address to the nation.
Electricity Bills for lifeline consumers to be paid fully by Government. For all other categories, the government will pay 50% using March bills as a benchmark. This will be for the next 3 months, thus April, May and June 2020.
Government to absorb electricity bills to lessen the burden of Ghana’s as we fight the COVID-19
The good news for many Ghanaians is that Government has absorbed their electricity bills.
