UPSA to Construct Ten-Floor Multipurpose Twin Towers (Pictures)
UPSA to construct ten-floor multipurpose twin towers on campus as part of its effort to expand infrastructure on Ghana’s fastest developing University of all time.
For this reason, the famous E. K. A. Arkorful and J.B. Buamah Buildings are about to go down to pave way for the construction of ten-floor multipurpose twin towers.
E. K. A. Arkorful and J.B. Buamah Buildings date back to the early years of the Institute of Professional Studies now University of Professional Studies.



The once-monumental edifices, a few years ago, served as the main Administration Block of the University and offices for other principal officers.
UPSA to construct ten-floor multipurpose twin towers to improve on facilities of the University and this is completed will give visitors and students a better first-time impression of the university right at the school’s entrance.
A sod-cutting ceremony will be held this afternoon to commence work on the new project which is scheduled to be completed in 18 months.

When the sod-cutting ceremony is over, it will mark another journey into transforming the University. These two buildings happen to be the last legacy of the Institute of Professional Studies on the campus of the University. In a related development, the founder of the university Nana Opoku-Ampomah, Founder and First Director of the Institute of Professional Studies, now University of Professional Studies, Accra.

The University of Professional Studies recently completed an ultra-modern auditorium that can house over 3500 people at the same time. It is the only University with such a mammoth edifice in the country.
UPSA has over the year become the preferred destination of SHS graduates for business-related programs in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Marketing, Auditing among others for Diplomas, Degrees, Masters, and PhDs even as new programs are introduced by the University.
