Arise African Youth Seminar 2019 is a seminar being organized by African Action Youth Alliance (AAYA), a registered nonpartisan, non- profit policy research and educational group established in Ghana to engage African youths to find solutions to the social, economic, governance and political problems confronting the African continent.
The theme for the event is “Promoting and Increasing Youth Participation in Community Development”.
The event is scheduled to take place at The Catholic Institute of Business and Technology, Adjacent GNAT Hall, City Campus, Adarbraka- Accra.
Arise African Youth Seminar 2019 is a program that brings together young people to meet experts and young leaders.
The purpose of this event is to gain knowledge, share information and share ideas on the participation of youth in community development. This Seminar is geared towards promoting,
enhancing and increasing participation of youth in community development and nation-building.
In this Seminar, speakers will share with delegates the need for the African youth to be engaged in community development and the prospects that it holds.
Topics to be discussed include
I). Contemporary Approach to Leadership.
II). The Essence of Patriotism and Nationalism in Ghana’s Youth
ii). The Role of the Youth in Community Development.
Target Audience for the seminar is delegates made up of youth, youth leaders from various institutions, corporate groups, NGOs, etc.
Speakers at this event include Mr. Allan Tagoe (Director, Solvco Ghana Limited and Broadcast Journalist, Pent TV) who will speak on the topic: Contemporary Approach to Leadership.
The Essence of Patriotism and Nationalism in Ghana’s Youth will be another interesting topic to be handled by Miss Michelle Debrah (Lecturer, University of Education, Winneba).
Mrs. Vera Lamiley Allottey (Greater Accra Regional Director, Department of Community Development) will speak on “The Role of the Youth in Community Development.”
