Akuapem Poloo hints at prospect of marriage plans with low-profile partner

Ghanaian actress and socialite Akuapem Poloo has revealed that she is considering marriage, marking a significant shift in her perspective on long-term relationships.
In a recent interview on Okay FM, Akuapem Poloo shared that she is in a serious relationship with a man she describes as “drama-free” and “off social media,” a departure from her previous high-profile relationships. The couple met at an event, and she believes their bond is strong enough to lead to marriage.
According to Poloo, her partner is currently abroad, working diligently to establish a solid financial foundation for their future together.
Reflecting on her romantic history, Poloo stated, “I’ve dated seven men, and I think it’s enough. My longest relationship lasted eight years, so I know what I want now.”
She acknowledged that she previously found the idea of marriage overwhelming, but her views have evolved with age and experience. Now a mother of two, Poloo expressed her desire to have one more child within the bounds of marriage.
Despite societal expectations, Poloo remains grounded in her approach to marriage. She remarked, “If I don’t get married, fine. If I do, glory be to God.”
Poloo also emphasized the importance of privacy in her current relationship. She disclosed that she fears revealing her partner’s identity, who is also the father of her second child, due to potential public scrutiny.
In March 2025, Poloo announced the birth of her second child, a baby girl, sharing heartfelt photos on Instagram to mark the occasion. She expressed gratitude for this new chapter in her life, writing, “In His own time, He makes everything beautiful. God, I’m grateful.”
