Information in the public domain is that the new chamber will cost at least $200 million.
According to Afia Schwarznegger, she desires that ‘Antoa Nyamaa’, the dread deity should deal with the members of parliament or anyone who intended to divert the money which was meant for the building of the new edifice.
The 450-seater parliament has led to the bashing of MPs and government and every Ghanaians are talking about it.
The celebrity in a video added that “If by chance they the $200 million goes missing, Antoa Nyamaa, the dreaded deity should kill all of them”. She kept invoking curses in the self-made video she made.
She was furious and asked why people Ghanaians queued and voted for could do such things. To her, Ghanaians will surely talk when such decisions are made “Who really thinks for this country? Who brought the idea? This is a wee smoker’s thought”, she revealed in a video sighted newsghana24.com sited.
She added that school children are learning under trees and lactating mothers are being detained in health facilities because of bills they owe. But people who have been given power and the financial resources of the nation do not see the need to invest in the most pressing needs of the ordinary people.
