Young Minds Intellectual Quiz Championship Semi-Finals Battle lines set for May 15

The Young Minds Intellectual Quiz Competition 2018/2019 which has commenced last year with 28 basic schools drawn from the Keta Municipality has now reached Semi-final stage after series of tough preliminary competitions as well as highly competitive quarter-finals contests between the contesting Schools.

Every school that has participated in the competition gave a good account of themselves indicated that their dedicated teachers and heads of schools put in a lot of efforts to compete and not just add up to the numbers.

Young Minds Intellectual Quiz Competition –Quarter Finals

At the end of the quarter-final stage, 8 schools qualified out of the 16 schools that competed in the round of 16 qualified for the Semis.

The semi-final is slated to commence on 15th May 2019 (Wednesday) at Anseco Basic School, Anloga The schools that will battle it out in the Young Minds Intellectual Quiz Competition semis have been drawn and put in two groups of four (A and B).

This educative program is brought to you by The Young Foundation Builders Network and Science and Maths Club of Shalom Shalom School in collaboration with Jubilee Radio, Ghana Library Authority,  Gosanet Foundation,

and Hogbe Radio.

The Coordinator of Young Foundation Builders Network (YFBN) deserves many thanks and commendation, The Chairman, organizers, head teachers and coordinators of the contesting schools and the general public also deserve a lot of thanks for their contribution to making this competition a success so far.
