Women premier League Super Cup ongoing in Tamale

Tamale, Sept. 22, Ghana Football Association’s (GFA) off season competition of the Women’s Premier Super Cup tournament 2021/2022 ongoing in Tamale Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium in the Northern region.
Mrs Matilda Dimedo, a member of the GFA Communications Women Football Team revealed that eight teams from the Southern and Northern Zones of the country 2021/2022 under the Women’s Premier League were qualified to participate in the second edition of GFA off season competition, the Women’s Premier Super Cup.
She said the tournament was aimed at enhancing women football game in the country.
She said Women’s Premier Super Cup, Dreamz and Faith Ladies on Tuesday Sept. 21 square off in tie breaker for a semi-final slot.
Mrs Dimedo announced that Faith Ladies Term has qualified with six penalty goals against Dreamz Term for the semi finals.
She added that the Faiths Ladies would joins Ampem Darkoa Ladies in the Semi-finals.
The game is scheduled to take place at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium today Thursday September 22 at 3:00 pm
