Your Winners and Heroes at 20th Vodafone Ghana Music Awards are now out. We know the winners after a night of music, fan and scary moments. The biggest names in the music industry in Ghanaian and African gathered at the new dome at the Accra International Conference Centre to celebrate Ghanaian and African music and to award deserving artists who have worked hard over the past one year.

At the 20th edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, every fan of music expected his or her favourate to pick the awards at stake.

On the night, many artist and producers in the music and entertainment industry picked up wards. On the night Shatta Wale picked two awards thus Highlife Song of the Year with his song “I know my level” and Reggae/Dancehall Song of the Year with the popular “Gringo”. Kwesi Arthur shines on the night as well as he bagged one award as the Hiphop Song of the Year whiles Kuami Eugene picked the Highlife Artiste of the Year award.

Gospel Artiste of the Year was no surprise to many as it went to the one many expected to win in the person of Diana Hamilton. She beat the likes of Joyce Blessing, Joe Mettle, KODA
, Obaapa Christy and Akesse Brempong to it.

The incident that led to Reggae/Dancehall Artiste of the Year – Stonebwoy pulling a gun, and the reasons why Highlife Song of the Year – Shatta Wale for ‘My Level’ decided to storm the stage annoyed would trend throughout the coming weeks.
