WAIT FOR YOUR CHANGE
“If a man die, shall he live again? All the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come.” – Job 14:14.
Hope is simply refusing to give up on something and believing God for the situation to change. Hope sees a brighter tomorrow or future even when one is in a valley. That is why David, said in Psalm 37:24 ~ “Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the Lord upholdeth him with his hand.”
Your hope in God helps you to recover from any situation. Every hopeful person is joyful. Your joy comes from within because you have rivers of living water inside of you which never dries. John 7:38 ~ “He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.” Keep your hope and joy alive at all times to survive any storm.
Every one of us goes through trying moments, but it depends on how you react to it. You can either give in and sink, or refuse to be affected by the situation to float. Listen, until Jesus comes, we cannot escape challenging times, develop a defence mechanism and survival strategies to stay rugged. The Word of God must be your first survival tool in this life. It must be part of you; study and meditate on it to get it into your spirit.
Joshua 1:8 says, “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.” The Word produces the hope and joy you need. Never lose hope in God!
Prayer for today:
Thank You Lord, for the Word, increase my hope and joy in You. Help me take my eyes off the storm and focus on You alone in Jesus’ name, Amen.
